Specializing in wine photography for wineries across British Columbia (such as Oliver, Penticton, Kelowna, OK Falls, Vernon) and Bordeaux (St. Emillion, Pomerol, and Bordeaux), I know how important stunning wine images are when showcasing your wines to the world. The right approach to photographing wine bottles and labels capture the attention of wine enthusiasts — from casual to sophisticated — to trigger curiosity and desire.
While a wine’s presentation and brand is critical to the winery, photographing bottles or any shiny, reflective surface is one of the most difficult products to photograph. Light refractions, light reflections, angles of incidence, inverse square law; these must all be aligned to capture that perfect wine bottle image. As an experienced wine bottle photographer, I have developed unique, custom lighting equipment and honed distinct techniques to consistently achieve pristine results.
There are several wine photography styles and lighting options to choose from, including single bottles, groupings of bottles to styled environment photographs. You also have the choice of having the bottles photographed on-location at your winery or in my downtown Vancouver studio. I’m excited to discuss your objectives and goals to determine the best approach to help your business grow!
