Jeff and Soon’s paths were destined to cross as they both had a mutual enjoyment of spirits. They first met professionally in 2002 at a cold beer and wine store where Soon was working, and Jeff was the sales rep for Bacardi. It was quite difficult to keep it professional as there was an instant chemistry between them. Soon remembers first thinking “that’s what a real man should look like”! It wasn’t until 3yrs later that they eventually began dating, although not officially, as Soon was now working for a competing company. Their love for each other grew out of a wonderful friendship and eventually they became an official couple.
Shortly after they began dating, on an amazing trip to Las Vegas, Soon knew in her heart that Jeff was the one for her! She loved how generous and caring he was, not only to her but also to those around him. He was always looking out for others and continuously put others ahead of himself.…adored her eyes and smile and how she lit up any room she enters.
Jeff absolutely adored her eyes and smile and how she lit up any room she enters.

After all their years together, one of their fondest memories was when they decided to go bungee jumping in Whistler. Soon was so terror stricken, she froze on the platform – they eventually had to physically push her off! …the funniest moment was Jeff launching off and screaming like a girl…
However the funniest moment was Jeff launching off and screaming like a girl all the way down! Some of their other fond memories include their first trip together in Maui, being around their families during holiday seasons, but most of all the birth of their son and daughter, Taylor in 2011 and Aja in 2014.

In the late summer of 2013 they went out for a lovely, romantic dinner in White Rock at the Washington Avenue Grill overlooking the ocean. After dinner they went for a moon lit walk along the pier ending up at the White Rock where Jeff proposed. As Jeff is an undying romantic at heart, he chose the White Rock, as it was a place of many “firsts” for them – first date, first moved in together, their first house and the place where their first child was born. White Rock is, and always will be, a very special place for them!
Jeff and Soon chose La Casa Cottage Lakeside Resort in the beautiful Okanagan Valley as the location for their wedding as they both loved this venue after attending a wedding there the previous year. They decided it was the perfect distance from Vancouver to make it a vacation holiday, but not too far away that it made it difficult for guests to attend. It was also a wonderful experience for family and friends who hadn’t been fortunate enough to experience the beauty of Kelowna and the Okanagan before, especially the ones who travelled from Iran and New York.
One of the most beautiful and touching parts of their wedding was including Taylor and Aja. This was very important to Jeff and Soon as they want their children to look back when they are older, and see the true love their parents share.
